RISING HOPE UMMC CLOTHING NEEDS

Rising Hope United Methodist Mission Church provides clothing for hundreds of people who come to their doors every week for help. Many of them have full time jobs but are unable to afford all basic needs; or may have just been released from incarceration and have nothing. There is a need for the following clothing items:

 >  Current Critical Need:  Men’s underwear and undershirts (S and M)

>  Rainy Season:  Ponchos/Light Rain Jackets

>  Ongoing:  Spring and summer clothing for all ages (female and male)

If you can provide any of these necessary items in the coming weeks, please leave on the table at the back of the sanctuary. Questions: contact Sherrill Hendricks at 703-960-7437 or turkbay13@gmail.com

FOOD DRIVE FOR UCM & RISING HOPE UMMC

Rising Hope UMMC and United Community Ministries (UCM) have an ongoing need of food for their food pantries.  Suggested donations include canned goods, cereal, baby formula and baby food.   Donations can be left in the brown bins at the elevator entrance.

CHILDREN’S BOOK COLLECTION

United Community Ministries (UCM) is collecting new and gently used children’s books (all ages) to keep in the family services waiting room for children to take home with them. These books may be the only ones the children will have of their own. Please place books on the table on the right as you go through the glass door entrance.
